Live Wedding Illustration FAQ | Dallas Fort Worth

  • We work from a designated illustration station where guests can come to us throughout the event to be sketched. This allows us to stay efficient while ensuring each illustration is completed with care. Guests simply stop by, have their photo taken, and can return later to pick up their finished portrait.

  • If we are unable to complete all illustrations during the event, we will finish the remaining sketches afterward and mail them to you or directly to your guests. We are committed to delivering the full number of illustrations included in your package. If our schedule allows, we may also be able to stay longer to complete additional sketches on-site.

  • Most sketches take about 5–10 minutes per person, depending on the level of detail and number of people in the portrait.

  • Yes. We can draw couples or small groups, though individual portraits may allow us to complete more guests overall.

  • We require a table that is at least 6 feet long to allow space for both artists and displaying finished sketches, along with two chairs and a well-lit area. Linens or décor can be provided, or we can bring our own.

  • We typically arrive 30–55 minutes before our start time to set up and be ready as guests arrive.

  • Yes. We offer custom details such as names, dates, or event information on each illustration. This is typically applied using a custom stamp, unless otherwise specified.

  • Yes, we offer digital add-ons where illustrations are scanned and delivered after the event.

  • We are based in Fort Worth, Texas and serve weddings in the Dallas Fort Worth area as well as destinations worldwide.

For local events, we include up to 50 miles each way from zip code 76104. Additional mileage is $1 per mile.

For destination weddings, travel includes the cost of flights and accommodations. Travel is not included in package pricing, and accommodations will be discussed at the time of booking to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay.

  • We dress to match the style and formality of your event. For most weddings, we wear formal attire such as a black dress and black suit, or black dress pants with black tops for a clean, professional look.

For more casual events, we also have the option to wear jeans with a branded t-shirt. We’re happy to coordinate with you ahead of time to make sure our attire fits seamlessly with your dress code and overall aesthetic.
